Are you ready?
Are you ready to help us get rid of this worthless,
uncaring, SCANDALOUS FNM government?
Are you ready for them to ring the bell!!!

To my Parliamentary colleague Anthony Moss, who I fully expect will return to Parliament.
TEAM EXUMA!
I am sure that you will agree with me that LOYALTY to VOTERS is rare in the FNM!
Loyalty is a must in politics. For if you cannot be loyal to
the people who elect you, then why should they then re-elect you?
I mention this so that when you see Phenton Nemour again, ask him why he abandoned the good people of South Beach.
Ask him bluntly: WHY DID YOU RUN FROM SOUTH BEACH?
I’ll tell you why.
He ran from South Beach because he was an appallingly poor, absent representative for that constituency.
It’s as simple as that: He failed to keep his promises and
left the voters in South Beach because he knew they were going to vote him out!
He could not DELIVER, and now he and his colleagues are all
on the run.
Running away from the people who elected them!
Not just the “Abandoner” has been a failure but his entire party.
They have delivered policies that mismanaged our finances –
allowing the national debt to climb to 4.6 BILLION DOLLARS.
This is the largest amount of debt this country has ever seen!
They have delivered unemployment at 15.9 percent in New Providence, and 21.2 percent in Grand Bahama
– Delivering 34 percent unemployment to young Bahamians under the age of 25.
They have delivered unconscionable tax increases. Increasing taxes on cars, gas, licenses,textbooks, children’s underclothes and on baby pampers.
They also taxed the Holy Bible!
And what is worse is this:
They don’t believe in Bahamians! They do not believe in you!
Exuma, Don’t let Phenton “the Abandoner” Neymour do to you what he did to the people of South Beach.
Tell him you don’t want a reject! You want the real thing!
Exuma has one favourite son and his name is Anthony Moss.
He is the candidate that we ask you send back to the House
of Assembly to assist incoming Prime Minister Perry Gladstone Christie when he forms the next Government!
And make no mistake about it: The PLP will win the coming election!
Our Man – Your Man Moss will have the ear of Mr. Christie.
Moss is ready.
He is passionate.
He is committed and determined!
And like I say everywhere I go these days, he is no Johnny Come Lately!
Hubert Ingraham is a desperate man, a man who realizes he is
about to lose power.
He is about to be voted out of office!
He is afraid to call an election. Afraid to return to the
people as a common man. Afraid to ring the Bell!
– Boy I tell ya – Papa running scared!
He knows there will be no more helicopter rides to see a
King or Queen.
And his drunken stubbornness about clinging to power has now
developed into a messianic complex.
In fact, you may recall that when PAPA CLOWN recently fired
Kenneth Russell as
Minister of Housing, Russell referred to him as a “tyrant” and a “dictator.”
This is not the kind of leadership we want!
HELL NO!
Exuma, Look how he has ruled over a government that was rife with
corruption.
You remember Earl ‘Helicopter’ Deveaux’s scandalous acceptance of free chopper rides while his Ministry was considering a dredging project here in Exuma.
A protected body of water where you who are from Exuma could
be arrested if you removed anything from!
That’s them though – Bahamians have become second-class
citizens in their own country!
Then there was scandal with Zhivargo “Mona Vie” Laing where someone was instructed to change the tariffs on the Mona Vie product.
Ingraham’s solution? Conveniently swept that under that ‘dutty’ red carpet.
Then there is the biggest scandal of all – the one where Brent Symonette’s Bahamas Hot Mix company received almost 80 percent of the work given to sub-contractors by Jose Cartellone Construction Company.
The project is a nightmare! Roads have been dug up all over
the place.
Crippling small businesses, which were forced to shut their
doors and layoff workers.
Yes, Bahamians have suffered under this heartless FNM!
Just ask yourself, are you better off now under them than
you were under the PLP?
After not meeting last year’s deadline, they said it would
be completed by January of this year.
Then they said it was pushed to June of this year. Reports now say it may be completed sometime
in 2013.
The price tag has moved from $113 million to a striking $206
million, with an overrun approaching 100 million dollars.
AND AFTER ALL THAT WASTE, THEY ASK HOW WE WILL DOUBLE THE
INVESTMENT IN EDUCATION?
Education over roads? We in the PLP chose education any day!
They don’t believe in Bahamians, EXUMA!
So when PAPA CLOWN comes around talking about how he has a corruption-free government, tell him you know the truth!
Tell him you know whose hands, feet and body been in the
cookie jar!
Tell him you know he does not Believe in Bahamians!
For when it came to:
- doubling the investment in
young Bahamians – He says cannot be
done!
- When it comes to investing more in education – He says it cannot be done!
When it comes to creating 10,000 new jobs for young Bahamians – He says cannot be done!
When it comes to restoring peace back to our streets – He says cannot be done!
He tells the nation attracting new investments to create new 21st Century jobs for Bahamians – He says and believes cannot be done!
He says to believe in Bahamians – is something that cannot be done!
A government where Bahamians need not apply!
Well tonight – as we in the PLP lifts the hand of Anthony Moss -
JOIN ME IN TELLING THE FNM WHO DOESN’T BELIEVE IN YOU -
YES WE CAN! – YES WE CAN! – YES WE CAN!
EXUMA – Oh EXUMA – Are you ready for a government that
believes in you?
Are you ready for a government that will put Bahamians first?
Are you ready for a GOVERNMENT that will say YES TO Bahamians?
Then come with us as we move to restore peace to our streets!
Come with us as we set a course to Put Bahamians Back to Work!
Come with us as we point young Bahamians towards an era of prosperity and growth!
Come with us as we build our nation and restore opportunity to thousands of our countrymen and women.
Come with us as we restore JOB OPPORTUNITIES back into this economy and create new business opportunities for all our people.
Come with us, and send OUR MAN Anthony Moss back to Parliament!
BELIEVE in the Bahamas as we in the PLP believe in you!
