The Progressive Young Liberals of Grand Bahama commends The Government on the recent announcement of the multi facet agreement between the Government of The Bahamas, Hutchison Whampoa and Sun Wing Travel Group on the reopening of the Reef Village into a 5 star all-inclusive hotel operated by Blue Diamond Hotels. This major investment is poised to create over 1,000 jobs for Grand Bahamians. We applaud your commitment to addressing the ailing economy of Grand Bahama. This announcement reiterates the Government’s commitment to Grand Bahama and its focus on job creation here on the Island. This is a major relief to our economy and to the people of this island.
